Our Philosophy: Art for Living
A visit to the Silver Fox Gallery is sure to lift your spirit. The more than 100-year-old
building, the welcome you receive when you enter our door, the music that surrounds you,
and the carefully selected collection of fine art and craft all work together to fulfill the
gallery's philosophy adopted from Goethe:
"A person should hear a little music,
read a little poetry and see a fine picture every day,
in order that worldly cares may not obliterate
the sense of the beautiful,
which God has implanted in the human soul."
Our primary goal is to provide an experience and a selection of work that will enhance your
life and the lives of your friends and family. Pieces range from wonderfully conceived and
handcrafted small gifts and jewelry to fine art in two and three dimensions. Along with our
adopted Goethe philosophy, quality and great design are our guidelines. Prices range
from less than $10 to several thousand dollars.
Our Gallery
The Silver Fox Gallery exhibits it collection of contemporary American fine art, craft and
interiors in a two-story brick building located at 508 N. Main Street in the heart of
Hendersonville’s Historic Downtown. Founded in 2000, the gallery relocated from Tryon to
Hendersonville, North Carolina in 2004.

Directions
In Western North Carolina, exit off Interstate 26 onto Hwy. 64 toward Historic Downtown
Hendersonville. Turn left onto Main Street. The Silver Fox Gallery is at 508 Main Street,
across the street from Mast General Store.
Parking: Public parking is available ½ block from the gallery on Fifth Avenue between King
and Main. From Hwy. 64, turn left on King, right on Fifth Ave. and left into the metered
parking lot.
